After re-visiting my original blog post that I had written shortly after my time in Siem Reap with the intentions of improving and re-posting, I decided that no words could do this justice.
My first week traveling solo, adapting to the scorching heat and humidity and with no clue of what I was doing or where I was going, I ended up in Siem Reap, wandering around some of the most magnificent ancient temples and ruins in the world. Whilst this is the most famous tourist site in Cambodia, there also many other places that are worth visiting, such as the Koh Ker temples.
So rather than describing my time there, I thought it better to simply provide a selection of my favorite images… and perhaps you can imagine how in awe I was, and you would be, if you were there too … enjoy 🙂
Hi had forgotten how steep the stairs were on some of those temples. Whoah!
I just posted photo tours of Angkor Wat and one of the most underrated – Bayon. If interested, I thought I’d share – http://visit50.com/bayon-temples-cambodia/
This is one of my all time favourite places in Asia!!
Mine too! 🙂
